Structural Repairs

Framing Repairs & Restoration keep small structural issues from turning into major problems. When you see cracks, sagging, or soft spots, it is usually the framing quietly telling you it needs attention, and the sooner it is addressed, the more of your existing structure we can save.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
We start with a focused assessment of the affected areas-whether that is a sagging roof line, bounced or uneven floors, or walls that have shifted from water or termite damage. Our goal is to identify what can be reinforced, what must be replaced, and how to stabilize everything without unnecessary tear-out.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Damaged or deteriorated wood is removed methodically and replaced with new, properly sized lumber, fasteners, and connectors that meet current standards. That might mean swapping out termited studs, reinforcing rim joists, or rebuilding sections of wall that have lost their strength over time.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
We also reinforce wall and ceiling joists when spans have been overloaded or previous work was done incorrectly. Adding sister joists, blocking, or new beams in the right locations can bring back the stiffness and alignment your home or building was designed to have, which helps doors and windows operate correctly and reduces drywall cracking.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
If you are planning a remodel, we can stabilize and correct suspect framing before new finishes go in. Catching and fixing these issues in the framing stage protects your investment in cabinetry, tile, and trim, and it gives your inspector confidence in the structure behind the new work.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
With each repair project, we focus on leaving the structure stronger and more reliable than we found it. You get the benefit of a safer, more stable building, reduced risk of future damage, and the confidence that hidden framing problems have been properly addressed by a licensed crew.
